The team at AEGIS Financial began the process of having clients complete the Raymond James Limited Power of Attorney, Form #1437 at their upcoming investment review. This form is required to be completed for the spouse who doesn’t attend annual portfolio reviews or make decisions for their account. By signing the form it provides permission to the non-active client’s spouse to make decisions for them. The Limited Power of Attorney specifies the authority the agent will have. The principal lists all the matters for which the agent will make decisions, sign documents or give instructions. For those spouses that do not attend meetings, your Advisor at AEGIS Financial will be either sending the document home with the spouse attending the meeting or mailing the document to your home for you to complete and return to us.
