Chris & Kevin Otte, through Kevin’s business, Street Pedalers LLC, recently sponsored the 2nd Annual Cheese and Quacker’s 500 Rubber Duck Race to support Salute the Troops, Inc.
After 2 months of non-stop efforts from Chris and Kevin along with many helpers in the Fond du Lac community, all 1000 raffle tickets were sold! After adding together the purchased tickets and outside donations Chris and Kevin raised a total of $3,500 to donate to Salute the Troops, Inc. The total included the support from AEGIS Financial with a donation of $300. If you aren’t familiar with Salute the Troops Inc., they serve over 30,000 veterans and their families in the Fond du Lac, Sheboygan and Dodge Counties. The organization’s mission is to enable veterans to live purposeful and independent lives by providing resources to empower them; they act as a hand up, not a hand out.
