We are proud to highlight a number of our team members who are taking the next step to grow their knowledge and skills in the industry!
- In April, Brian Rogers, Advisor graduated from Advisory Masters Program at Raymond James. Below Brian Rogers speaks upon his experience through the (AMP) program.
“As a career changer, there was a lot to learn before becoming an advisor at AEGIS Financial. Thankfully Raymond James has a training program called the Advisor Mastery Program (AMP). Many large financial firms have training programs which likely focus on the sales and marketing side of the business. AMP had plenty of that training too, but the overarching tenet of the program was how an advisor can use the tools and resources of Raymond James to best help their clients. Even the CEO of Raymond James spoke to our class of 25 trainees, and his message was clear: “Do what is right for your client.” AMP not only taught me how to effectively use the tools and resources that Raymond James offers its associates and clients, it reinforced that I made the right choice to join the AEGIS team – a team who would partner with a company that was completely focused on doing what is right for the clients we serve.”
- In April, Bill Bowman, President & Owner and Kristie Hennes, Executive Director of Operations & Client Experience attended the Raymond James National Conference in Las Vegas.
- In June, Tyler Streber, Client Services Intern, will partake in a Dave Ramsey Financial Peace Class. In addition, Tyler will begin studying for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam to be taken by the end of summer.
What is happening in the months to come?
- In August, Bill Bowman, President & Owner will attend a Raymond James Conference in Elkhart Lake, WI.
- In September, Michael Donnan, Financial Advisor, will attend a Raymond James Conference in Chicago.
- By the fall of 2019, Michael Donnan, Financial Advisor, will complete his AAMS designation.
